Whee! Birthday!

Birthday started off dreary with me waking up at 8 am to an almost empty house. Everyone was off at school or work lol.

But then it improved with lunch :D Lunch was at Jack's Place with Jumbo Combo and mum :D:D omg I ate until I was utterly bloated. I feel like a pig.

Anyway, after lunch, I came home and decided to go Facebook and my email. Was pleasantly surprised to see that my wall was full even before 1pm. lol. Amazing :D And my email was full with notifications from Facebook :D

Of course, thanks go out to those people who filled out my handphone inbox too :D

Thank you everyone!!

Now I'm waiting for the delivery of my cake from Ah yee, who preordered the cake even before she flew back to China :D mmmmm Tiramisu!

Thank you everyone who's made my birthday a blast so far! Especially to the amazing group of people who wished me happy birthday/gave me a present/stayed up till midnight to sms me at 0000.

I feel compelled to say a few words.

I never thought I actually felt for RV so much. It's just overwhelming how we have grown through the years. I certainly looked much different from when I was Year 1 and I'm sure everyone looks different now too. We look more mature now...and eh. I remember a time when the guys were shorter than me. Now everyone towers over me -.-

Today's graduation ceremony began with a bang. There was a rush to tie ties...I tied 4 in all :D
Then there was morning assembly and all the fluff stuff.

The concert was definitely the highlight. Hmm...I guess it was pretty irritating at first when the teachers arrived in LATER than the emcees announced (I thought it was supposed to be practiced?) but after that, it zoomed into highness.

It started with speeches from Yihui and Mr Tan KS. Mr Tan's speech was hilarious, punctuated with economics as usual...

Then the giving out of certs. I remember thinking that our class is so united when we were the first class to glean laughter from the audience with the guys going to the front to squat for phototaking rather than the girls...Ahh...if only Year 6 lasted. Oh and Ruolan's montage for our class looked nice on PPT :D:D

Then the Videos OMG the VIDEOS. I cried throughout I think. It's just so touching. Reading the words on the ppt can make me cry 0.0 I saw all the pictures...year 1,2,3,4,5,6 all flashing past. I saw my achievements flash past me, my friends made flash past me, and events flash past me (e.g. there was our Odyssey of the Mind Picture!!). We were unknowing blur sec 1s when we came in. And now we're in JC - how fast time flies. I remember thinking the exact same thing in P6.

There were also videos from GP dept and Econs dept (for some reason, they were the most enthu) Gp dept sang I have a feeling...black eyed peas...to funny lyrics. Then Econs Dept has EAT SLEEP DO ECONS campaign again. Also, there were funny punctuations such as Benjamin Moquan :D

Then there was teachers video. Mr George Lim went on a rephrase of maths concepts 0.0 damn pro I have to get my hands on it!

Then there were songs by the teachers (You'll be in my heart and another Chinese Song). The atmosphere was overwhelming and definitely amazing. I learnt that Mr Chua TK can sing quite well. And so can Mr TKS to some extent...and of course Mr Ong and Mr Lim can sing :D
There was also Ding Ning's powerful voice...on tune and everything!

After the ceremony, there was FOOD and mass phototaking. I think I took more today than the last 2 months added together lol!

The school's been really generous! we have RV ties and the streamer. According to my mum, that streamer is a trademark of the Air Force, so there must be some air force person in RV who suggested the idea of giving that...Oh and not to forget Mrs Wong's gift of cranes, ziplocks and muesli bars. Thank You Mrs Wong and I hope you liked the balloon we got for you :D

On a side note, I'll like to thank the 5/6 DingDongs for being classmates with me for these 2 years. It's been great knowing everyone!
I'll do something similar to what I did in sec 4...but shorter.

Ooo. The person who usually sits to my right! Mathmathmath! haha. Small handwriting? Cheerful sociable CIP orientated person!

Dance gal (but always complaining about dance haha) Great amazing personality and a happy person
6) Ruolan
Aiyo. Don't put RL next to eugenia! hehe. Dear Chem Rep who's forever guilty of 'tan-nys'
7) Kaying
Another Treasurer. And a more sacarstic mean one :D:D But she never fails to bring joy to everyone!

Yay! haha She reminds me of a bird :D But one with colourful feathers rather than brown :D
