Today was west div day!!!
hahas.
So happy...
We got 1 gold + 2 silvers (Gold is our international quiz de, then silver one is the pagent and the other is human chess)
Plus the fact that we have camp galore bronze and craft comp gold yesterday, we more than met our winning competitions target for the year.
But now...seems like we are supposed to compete in competitions without the mentality of winning le, so as to clock participation points for PNA. Apparantly, if you take part in a competition and win, it does not constitute to participation points. As a result, once you reach the target and you still continue to win, you do not clock any more PNA Gold points anymore! LOL. whoever's dumb idea? Ahh...nvm, we'll just have to play along? Not that we did today lar...
GOLDGOLDGOLD! ahhhs..can't believe it! and we didn't study for the quiz at all? just used our general knowledge to answer the questions lor, somemore, we have proven that studying doesn't seem to work in this case, coz the rest were studying the handbook like some hardcore people and in the end? they didn't even get in.
Ohhz. and some zh****** people decided to cheat. not that we are sore losers or what lar...but you should flip open to the question, look at it, then answer and place your hand in the air and not raise your hand, then scream out the answer to your guide-in-charge then flip the calendar to the page with the question. It's like so obvious can?
anyway, that was our motivation to win ba? we didn't want the trophy to go to a school that didn't deserve it.
Oh yes. Phyllis turned out to be some great BIG surprise lor.. hahas.. when we do game show round that time, the nanyang guides (the organisers of e quiz) ask what does it mean to drape the colours, she answered it word for word, copied from the handbook sia...nearly scared the hell out of the nanyang guide (: [best part was that she didn't exactly make a super big point to memorise. it was just the spur of the moment? WoW]

Best part of the competition was when we bluffed every single RV guide after the competition (coz it's held in the classroom and they din know the results) that we lost terribly, and didn't even get into the top three...
hahas. it must have been a great act on our part, coz RV guides started to console us...hahas. then later the JSS guider went to call out the results, then RV guides got a shock sia...(:(: we did not only get into the top three, we also got the CHAMPION trophy nia...yayayyyay!
anyway, after going back to school on the bus, a few of us went out to long john...haiz. I think I this month really ate too much long john le... ahh. but nvm, it still always tastes good (:
then later I left early so that I could reach home, bathe and change b4 we went to the NDP rehearsal...
after watching NDP this year, I must say... IT ROCKS MAN!!! yepps...the show is more colourful, with laser beams and lights, like hong kong's light displays at the 'xing guang da dao' there...
Oh ya the LIONS made their way down twice! once when the sun was setting and then once more at night...
And there are jellyfish which are like mini hot air balloons? and there are little shiny UFO like planes which are shot all over the place, lighting it up...
Ohs and the cheerleader people are all dressed as chickens and there are ahgongs and ahmas doing taiqi and little kids which dress up in some costume not unlike those from Finding Nemo on ICE...
more importantly, the emcees are all arriving by BOAT!!! so cool right?
yepps. so this rehearsal was considered a successful one by me..except for the fact that...
1) RVHS chorale pangseh us! left le...then I didn't get a chance to see you all...
2) Daniel Ong was NOT IN ACTION!!! then he was like subbed by some indian singer?!?!

hmm...ahhs. nvm...I'll still get to hear your voice on 98.7Fm..hahas..looking forward to seeing some people's face when they see RVGG giving out 4 trophies for 4 different competitions... (:

There was one guy who stuck that rose into his mouth and took a photo lar (thanks to ying) ...darn cute!!---became the advertisement for our booth (:
Some person at scape field complained about our banner blocking hers and said that we had no guiding spirit.
was it blocking hers? even if it was blocking someone, it wasn't her booth.
Ahhs nvrmind. At least she din put up a fuss and just grumbled a little...(:
Then Mrs Choy brought her son to the booth and they had a family photo. dunno if Ms Tan in the end got take with her 'friend' onot. I wish I was there (:
yepps. anyway, I bought a new badge with Girl Guide on it. It looks really nice and artistic...
Oh and since my school bag got broken a little, I got a new one. it's BLUE...

Spooky unknown future
Of interchangeable pride -
A phantom, a dream
Would my childhood seem
That night was fraught with violence and stonge
With random unwakening thoughts
Of unseen spirits
That I sense not
I let them pass me by
Throwing suspicious eyes
Let none of ill intent
Inherit the vision that I possess
Those thoughts I can't control
Twists a mask upon his soul

Fatigue denied
With a groan it passed on
I prayed it'd perish

I'm back and alive from UK!
Just arrived yesterday from UK and it's been JET LAG JET LAG and JET LAG!
ohno.
Woke up at 1pm today, dunno what's wrong with me...I slept at 11pm yesterday night somemore..
haiz. 14hrs of sleep? plus the fact that yesterday, I slept from 2-7pm. and the fact that I slept abit on the plane.
worse. I don't know how to reverse this cycle. Now I'm feeling wide awake, like as if I am now at 1pm or something.
nvm. UK was fun!!
Got the whole tour group having fun there lor..
Everyone there was influenced by bleach. even the teachers (though in a good or bad way I duno) But my grp was the most enthu, from day 1! yippee!!<3
