Labrador park was a blast, with my group (group 6) winning second prize..my group consists of yinshan, nicole and me..

First prize? Yingying's group with 90 something over 120 (we only got 90. something)
Third prize? Beryl's group with 80 something pts

It was like amazing race, with clues going to different places in the park and then there, we needed to complete a task or more..

We guides had a blast of a time *whoots*
6 stations (one from each sec 3 patrol and of course the 7th is O i/c -- oriole)

At 8 am in the morning, I came to school in my dad's car, only to find that the Secondary Threes are already wide awake (they camped overnight)...

At 8.30 am, ms tan wan tze brought the sec 3 off to labrador to prepare, leaving mrs choy to bring us (sec 1&2) to labrador park :D

the walk was long and tedious..uphill some more..finally, we arrived at the starting point..

there, peisi seemingly lost group 6's starting clue..but..found it in time..

*pull opens the envelope*
wahh..1st clue : 八个洞 (ba1 ge4 dong4) or eight holes
we couldnt find it at first, but soon found them..there..
MYNAH had a walk in store for us..
task : walk up and down the staircase-like trail, with qns posted to us along the way..

yinshan was our saviour..she chose the correct numbers (which meant easier ans and easier routes)

next, they pulled us to extreme ends of the trail area and asked us to find each other by tracing the voices..we did really well!
and of course, for the bonus, we got to cheer(we used this cheer at every station, changing the destination words each time to fit every single different destination) :

Here we are at nature park, nature park, nature park
We will beat the others, the others, the others
nya-ni-nya-ni-pu-pu

2nd clue: salty wooden L
salty means near the sea,
wooden L,probably a bridge in L shape
and we found it
we had to sing 3 songs about the sea while waiting for the previous group to finish their task..
there, we played scavenger hunt with FP
task:find all the 3clues that are inside clear plastics around the jetty and then using the alphabet, decipher the code..(that means like 1 is A and 2 is B)

I was the one who found all 3 clues in record breaking time of I think 2 min?
ahahs..then, we deciphered the code, in all, we took 6 min plus and got full marks...

3rd clue: (a picture showing a big black dot)
at first, we thought that it meant a storyboard, for that's what a black dot represents on the map given to us, later, we found out that it meant a tunnel..where KF had something in store..

task: 2 members in blindfold, then the last shall lead them to pick up the paper pieces of a cut up passage, thereafter you shall piece the passage in order then act out the passage.
the toughest of all the task, i stupidly led my group members to miss one of the paper bits, and had to turn and get it b4 i continued with the task..
we pieced them together, and got only 1 out of 8 correct.
then we acted our version in the order we pieced them..
wahh..this was the worst station, but we still did it.

4th clue: 7529476863
can you guess what it means?
it's playground (look at your handphone keypad)
yepp, we headed to swallow for a maze in the playground
task: get out of the maze, then memorise a passage on labrador park and then just say it out the way you memorised it..
here, we met with another big failure..
we were the slowest out of the maze, coz we were blindfolded and worst thing, we went around in circles at the exit.. LOL

5th clue: 爆炸 (bao4 zha4) or explosion
the clue led us to the cannons, there,we did a crossword, set by sparrow.
task: fill in the blanks in the passage and then, using the blanks, fit them into the crossword..one catch though..you'll need to literally fit them in..there's no clues and no numbers to show the places you need to put each answer for each qn into.. :D
but..that was no obstacle for me..*pro* or so jhosy says..ahhas..yours truely did the whole crossword in 2 min, although the passage was about labrador park and i hadn't bothered to read the information put up on the walls.. :D
so..we ended up the fastest for this station too :D

6th and last clue: octopus by the sea
this was no obstacle for us as we had passed it tons and tons of times when going to previous stations..here's DOVE!
task: when was labrador park founded : 1_78? what number's in the blank? find that number of twigs, flowers, stones, and leaves..
here, clever yinshan guessed correctly again: it was 8!!!

hahas..we gathered them..and we rushed to the finish line..

then..the results were announced..we were 2nd with a score of 90.something!!

later..mrs choy made us go back to school to eat the mushy sandwiches made by store 3.
yucks..
hees..nvm though..coz after that, we went to vivo for long john silver's :D:D
